This year Medicare Open Enrollment runs From October 15th to December 7th. It is your chance to review your current plan and compare all the 2025 health and prescription drug options in order to make sure your needs are met.
During this period, you can change how you get health care coverage (switching from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage Plan or vice versa), change your Medicare Advantage Plan, or change your Medicare drug plan if you’re in Original Medicare.
These are all important annual considerations especially if a provider or pharmacy is changing network status. Another factor could be if you are planning to have a significant medical procedure next year. And while private insurance through the ACA has a different enrollment period, it may also be beneficial to revisit insurance here, as lower premiums may result from switching plans.
While this process can seem somewhat overwhelming, I have helped clients navigate and get signed up during this enrollment period. Reach out on my website if you would like to review your Medicare or private insurance healthcare needs. I’m here to help make the process easier.
